Rio is a versatile artist working across multiple mediums including, but not limited to; painting, illustration, graphic design, printmaking, digital arts, and drawing. Through all mediums she creates vibrant and whimsical works that transport viewers to imaginative worlds. Her art blends elements of fantasy, surrealism, and Art Nouveau. Characterized by bold, saturated colors and intricate, decorative details. 

Her inspiration is drawn from nature, femininity, the cosmos, and occasionally the macabre. She is currently living in her home town Moab Utah. After spending the better part of a decade carving her path in Salt Lake City, she was called home by a longing for the natural environment and community that fostered her passion for art.

She spends her time creating fine art, experimenting with different mediums, and gathering inspiration from her environment while she plays outside.
